The Daughters of Freedom A very disorienting moment for R and M during their first 24 hours in NewOregon 2049 from the story Coming to NewOregon II: Freedom Days. The "Daughters of Freedom" float comes down the street, commemorating the last major land battle outside the small town. It honors the young girls from the town who scoured the battlefield, killing the enemy wounded and piling their teeth high in the town square.
